FL 04, TD4.... when started it gives out a bit of blue smoke that clears quite quickly and dont seem to see it when running.

Any ideas on what that points too, if anything?

Steve

Ususally blue smoke at start-up is due to oil running down the valve guides after switching off. If your oil consumption is Ok I wouldn't worry about it.
Might be worth changing your crankcase breather "filter". Use the new BMW centrifugal type, not the LR element type, part no. 11 127 799 367.

Cheers,up to now had it serviced at every 12k and the garage change the breather at every other service but am 3k over the interval just now but have literally just changed the breather for the BMW one. Will see what happens now.

Thanks again
