new one on me,had same old problem as everyone else dodgey air bags ordered new ones from paddoock's no prob's so far, whipped em off fitted new un's.then it all went pear shaped.all back together wheels on ready for a spin round the block test my handy work, didn't even make it off the drive, one loud bang new airbag up the swanny refitted old one to get me about set off again you guessed it another loud bang second one blown too refitted second air bag ,paddock reckon i've dropped a clanger after telling me they sometimes get one blow but never two so must be me,even asked if i'd inflated them off the vechicle,ye always have spare compressor to had just in case, anyone had similar prob could you let me know , ta very much.............

Obviously they over inflated !!

Take it you reconnected the height sensors correctly, assuming you did . . . !

Somehow the pump was receiving a 'low back end' signal and just kept pumping (and pumping) has to be incorrect calibration

Acording to LR, you have to deflate using Testbook (T4) I assume you just bled the air out when you changed them, maybe this was it, and then your supposed to also use T4 and calibration blocks to set the correct height when fitting new ones !!

I have a horrible thought that Paddock may be right, that it was your 'method' - sorry !!

But them saying you inflated off the vehicle - yeah right !!! who would do THAT !!

i know what ya sayin steve, but spoke to local independant land rover guy can't see how they over inflated or my method was wrong as the old ones went back on no prob, still bloody leakin but hey got me further than the new ones.when first spoke to paddocks about problem came back and said sometimes have one blow but never two ,bit like sayin titanic couldn't sink..........?
