Ok so never had any serious problems with my 4.0 hse p38,till now,she's overheating big style,now iv done loads of research on this over the past 2 weeks which is when my problems started.
It suddenly started overheating so just thinking she was low on water topped up the header and it did the same the next night,iv changed the obvoius thermostat,no change.
It overheats within about 10 mins or 5 mins if stood,iv noticed when it overheats when stood the top hose is soft before the stat opens and when open it goes significantly harder,I haven't changed or check the w pump but seen as the hose goes hard I pretty much think that rules the pump out,but when I turn off the engine and feel the rad for cold spots it isn't warm at all its cold all over even though the engine is steaming hot,does this point to a blocked radiator,
