Hi can anybody please help me with a radio code for my 2004 HSE. It's a becker traffic pro BE 4765 serial number 35016140. Radio works fine but I can't get the sat nav to work and before I pull out the unit I want to make sure I have the code. Thanks

The sat nav on it is way out of date and pretty useless I found. I replaced the head unit with a DAB radio and bought a 6" Tom Tom. Best thing I did.

Can't help with the code.

Yeah you need a CD to update at a stupid cost so it aint worth that. I've left mine in as it give Lat/Long which I find useful sometimes. But as for Nav I use a Garmin... or my tablet app

I wanted Bluetooth for the phone hands free, but it was as cheap to put in a BT Kenwood head unit as it was to have a separate Parrot unit fitted.

Have you even bothered to introduce yourself ? It's called forum etiquette, or will you be simply another one post wonder ?

Introduce Yourself - Land Rover Zone

This issue has been covered a multitude of times, :search:, it's so damn simple.

Thanks for the constructive responses. I had looked at previous threads and realised that the Becker would not be a lot of good as a sat nav, I have a Garmin which I use anyway. However, the radio is good and it would be nice to know I can keep it working if I ever have to disconnect the battery. The idea of a DAB unit sounds great, can anybody recommend one that will work with the existing steering wheel controls.

I have a Kenwood BT 72 I think, see my thread for more details. You will need a special lead from in car tech to make the steering wheel controls work. It is not a 'normal' one! It took a while to find one. Plenty of threads on this.
