Axle for sale, but what type?

Good morning everyone,

i have been offered this axle with brake disk, but the guy said that it was for land rover, and now it says might be for sherpa. Can anybody help me out, and tell me what is it for, and would this fit underneath my Series 2.

I doubt it......for a start the leaf/axle mounting is completely different before you even start to think about steering link or diff ratio

What about the bowls? maby they could mate to the series axles?
