Bought the disco (04 plate) dec 2008 seemed a bit sluggish on take off but i hadn't driven one before so couldn't be sure anything wrong. take it to local independant to have codes reset. he test drove it and said that it was a little slow but nothing too alarming. i decided to decat de egr and give it a free flowing airfilter to see if that helped. well it did kinda. even bought a plug in power thingy as well( which does give it some serious power when floored) to help with me towing. time goes by and i eventually get round to buying and fitting some silicone turbo hoses as me next upgrade. the little short one from the turbo seemed to be split round the jubilee clip. nothing to write home about i thought but with the new hoses on the car is transformed. i couldn't believe it. it doesn't bog down at all, it revs past the 4000 it used to get to and then kinda cut out like it was fitted with a rev limitter or something. that hose must have been leaking and allowing the pressure to drop not giving the turbo its full whack. i am so happy its like driving a different car.
