The P38 passed the MOT at last, it has taken a lot to get it there, mainly my time............ as per some of my other threads.....
Replaced:
All front radius arm bushes nuts and bolts.
Track rod
All 4 front ball joints - done by local specialist.
All 4 tyres
Tracking

Other items done (but not for the MOT):
Sunroof drains that caused the lake in the boot and wet carpet under rear seats.
Repainted damage from leak/lake.
Headlining and pillars, completely recovered.
Cleaned, rustproofed and painted entire chassis (or what was accessible).
Also cleaned and painted the axles, diffs and brake dust guards.
Cleaned and degreased transmission, engine and bay.
Cleaned EAS sensor connectors.
Fixed EAS compressor.
Replaced rocker/plenum breather hoses with better quality items.
New tailgate straps
Stereo display fixed.

I am sure there is more, one thing is for certain and that is there will be more to come. Air bags, all 4 need changing soon, I got an advisory on that. There is an oil leak, possibly valley gasket dripping front and rear.
Thermostat seems to be cooling constantly.

That should keep me busy for a few weekends.........

Cheers

Got ball joints to do on mine before end of month. That's if the bloody parts ever arrive before MOT is due. Otherwise it's a lot of work on N/S lower for one stupid bloody boot. Unless i can talk tester into becoming blind for a while.

Congrats on getting her through the MoT Test. It has been a long time coming. Nice to see another old girl back on the roads.
