around the world in a defender

nice to know that a couple man and wife I think have made it around the world in a defender some 136000 miles is what was reported on the midlands news today many congratulations to them :5bcheers2::5bcheers2::5bhurray::5bhurray::5bhurray: but I wonder if the argued and who did the map reading

Easy enough to drive round the world, but bloody miraculous if their marriage survived it!

I bet it was one a hell of a fuel bill!!

Marriage probably survived due to defender induced deafness setting in after the first few hundred miles

I struggle a ride to meadowhell around Christmas time with mine! Nevermind around the world...

I have always wanted to do something like that but have not got the health nor the money. but the wife does read maps better nowadays.

Forget about the world, I have been to Hull in mine......:behindsofa:

I've been to meadowhall in mine ( with wife).....

From the coast of Norfolk!

Did trip to south of France, then back over the Pyrenees in mine with the wife and she did great on the map reading, around 1400 miles of driving and no arguments, but then we have had 17 years of no arguing!

my wife has done better with maps since I told her that when you come to a road for instance M6 or A1 can run in to directions.LOL
