I learnt today that no TDCI CSWs are fitted with electric windows on the 2nd row - that they are always manual?

This seems the very place you do want remote control.

Anyone retrofitted them? If so, how did you manage it?

It would be a bit of a task as no Defender was fitted with them.
There used to be an aftermarket electric window kit fir cars, the motor fitted inside the door and a cable driven gear drive unit went over the winding handle spindle.
I fitted a set to my Triumph Herald.
They worked but were slow.
I looked on Google for "car electric window kit" and it seems they are still available.

Might be the easiest way to do it.

I fitted after market to my fronts but cost stopped me doing the rears. There is no difference in fitting difficulty between front and rears IMHO.
Central locking was more of a challenge. I got the proper LR rubber frangers for the wiring, door to piller.

All my doors are done for - im tempted to get complete puma units for the fronts, with the electric windows, but, for the rears, it seems i may as well just get the shell and fit the internals and glass from my existing doors.

Waiting for some tdci doors to come up on ebay cheap enough whilst i work out the plan...
