Like tearing out the upstairs bathroom and not replacing it...3 years ago.
Using the kitchen, which he has actually finished alterations to, as a store
room rather than move out of the temporary kitchen(old garage which is
supposed to be a playroom for the kids). I wont say how many years we've
been stuck in the "bunker", but for 2 years it had no floor in it - just a
big hole!
I can understand that he often doesn't feel like working on our house as he
has to work around us and its what he does all week, in various forms for
other people. He's not in too good a mood this morning as the plasterer
didn't show up yesterday and has had to do it himself(he hates
plastering)this morning. This is so he can start to fit a couple of kitchen
units and re-tile someones kitchen on Monday.
The only rooms that have been finished are the kids bedrooms and the
downstairs bathroom, thats if you forget about the ceiling which still
hasn't been artexed.
