Anti Corrosion Warranty

Does anyone know anything about these warrantys. I have been told that because the last service was not done at a land rover dealer, the anti corrosion warranty is void. Seems a bit of con to me.
 
yer dunt need to have yer service done at a land dealer fer the warrnty to be valid. am sure someone will be along with all the legalnese fer yer
