Another "Doors not closing" thread

Hello... The doors of my T reg hardtop do close (kind of) however if I pull the handle towards me, without pressing the button, the doors open about half an inch then catch and do not open further. Both driver and passenger door bottom hinge pins

seem loose and have play in all directions. Before embarking on anything dramatic any ideas on where the best starting point might be? The seals look ok.

First thoughts are that the movement in the door hinges is preventing the door latches from fully dropping around the latch bar on the door posts. The latch bar is adjustable so it's worth trying that. Then I would sort the hinge pins and then re-adjust the latch bar to suit the new hinge pins and how they are now holding the door.
