Anderson Plug?

Anderson plug assembly question.

Looking at the curve contours on the end of the contact pin, does it matter which way up it gets inserted into the plastic body of the plug?

Yes. The curved bit must face out as thats what locks em together

You can only get them in one way, but they do need a good push!

Also make sure you properly secure the battery cable in place! Mines come out once from my shoddy soldering. Second time around I basically filled up the hole with solder, heated it with a blowtorch and pushed the cable in. Finished with a light hammering
