alrite lads
do any of ya no if a standard defender alternator will put up with a light bar with 2 rally giants on it and a roof bar with 4 square spots on it plus alll the standard lights.

Eh? You could use the alternator off a fiat 126 depending on how many watts yer talkin' for the lights.

If yer gonna ask a question at least mek it one we have a chance of answering.

BTW... if them 4 square ones is 1000W apiece, then no... it probbly wunt!

Add up all the WATTS of all the lamps, and divide by 12.

That's about the AMPS you're going to waste.

Add about 15 anps for keeping the rest of the car going

Check the AMPS the alternator plate says it can make.

Start saving up for a new alternator if you use the lamps a lot.
