Alarm won't resynchronise after changing battery

Does anyone know why, having changed the battery on my Freelander TD4, the alarm won't resynchronise? Before I changed the battery the rear wiper started up on its own and the back door window went down on its own, and won't go back. I can't get the back door open or the window to go back up! Everything else works. Can anyone help me with this please?

I had a the same sort of problem with my x plate 1.8 and found it was the remote key pad button stuck.
it did not affect the rear wiper..
It kept winding the rear window down even when the keys were in my wifes handbag in doors....
