Hi I recently had to change the seal on my air pump everything appears to be working normal but when I stop I keep getting very loud air escapes similar to what you hear from lorries at times, can anyone throw any light on this problem any help would be very much appreciated
 
Hi, have you checked to make sure the 'exhaust' filter hasn't been lost, it's situated at the rear of the EAS box on the engine side? It's designed to reduce the noise when the excess air is emitted.
 
Thanks for your reply P38 Al I think you are probably rght as I have a threaded hole in the EAS box and so it looks as if this damper is missing. I assume it is dealer only part so as I live in Spain I will have to suffer it until I can get to the dealer in Valencia which is a 100 mile round trip thanks again
