Hi every one
not been on for a while ,other day driving along nicely I looked down at inst/pan
and noticed airbag light on, nothing else it was quiet so pulled over switched off
waited a few mins then started up again every thing went out a few secs later
airbag light n again .
As I carry my diag tool with me plugged it in whent through system foud airbag
coming up as fault as nothing had happened ie airbag deploy cleared fault ,started
up again and drove no light come on ,today got in car started up all lights go out
then airbag comes on again I assume with no deploy of bag it could be a sensor
at fault ? but which one ? or is it a gremlin . 2005 range rover L322 4.4 petrol
any ideas would be appreciated thanks

Bad connection is a possibility, I don't know your car, but on the P38, the connector under the front seats often gives trouble as does the rotary coupler behind the steering wheel.
Did diagnostics say which airbag?

sorry it's taken me a while to get back but been busy ,I have checked all i can see but light still on
my car is a 2005 RR 4.4 petrol v8 have a gap iid tool and it goes into every thing I can clear all faults
when they come up not "very often" hane cleared airbag fault but after a short time come's back on
it does not tell me which one and I don't know where the sensors or module's are a little help to point
me right direction would be very greatfull many thanks

there are 8 airbags + seatbelt restraints +battery disconnect + seat occupancy sensors without a code reader that will tell you which it is not much chance of finding it, took me 2 months to find my problem (a bent pin in a connector) and i could read all the bags

Thank you Badfluffy for your reply apparently my diag' goe's into every thing according to my son
he is normaly the one that use's it I will see what he come's up with (clever little shss) but thanks for
your input at least I can stand by and say have you done this and that and he will think I know what
I am talking about thanks again
