hello there

ive put a thread up in the discovery section asking about a suspension set up for my disco titled "shocker setup help please" but I'm having no look at all so I wondered if any of you defender boys would help me please given the similarities

Many thanks

Towsey

What is it you need help with. Better to put it on here, as long as it is allowed? People probably won't go over to the Disco forum to look at your post, then come back on here to reply.

Cheers for the reply. I was sort of hoping that peeps might go onto my main post over there and reply there but I see wot your saying. I don't know how to copy it to here and it took me aaaages to write cos I'm no typist but il do it when I have more time

Thanks

Towsey

As I posted in that thread and I'm sure others of yours in the past. It depends largely on what you are wanting to achieve, and what the vehicle will be used for.

And if you can gain an understanding of what the different parts do, and why. And how they work, then you'll be able to figure almost all of it out for yourself.

For starters, I doubt +5" will be any use on the front radius arm setup without other significant mods.

For most off roading a vehicle that has balanced suspension front and rear will be more stable and nicer to drive. This means having loads of rear end flex may look cool and be good on an RTI ramp, but maybe less brilliant off road.

Dislocating suspension systems are an option, but may not be the best solution.
