advise again please

hi, i need more advise, i have a new-ish td5 o/s door that i'm wanting to put on my 1990, defender 90, although the door looks the same the internal brackets seem different, what i want to know is, will the internal fittings fit from my old door or do i have to buy new ?

It will fit but you will need to manufacture a small bracket to join the 1990 internal door card to the later model door. I simply bent a strip of chequer into an S shape that fitted and bolted it up.

Don't forget to coat the inside of the door with waxoyl or similar before you fit the gubbins.
