I have just ordered my first Defender after driving one on a LR Experience day and being amazed at how good they are. The model Ive ordered is a Defender 90 2008 model and as I would like to keep it out of the hands of the thieves I would appreciate some advice on security products. The products I have in mind are Disklok, Halfords/Autolok 2000 or a Full Metal Jacket. Any preferences?

Last question, I have heard when the new Defender was introduced ther wee a few design faults namely flywheel problems and transfer case misalignment. Does anyone know if these have been rectified. Thanks

Clutch claws work really well but hidden sattelite tracking best security, that and large pink fluufy dice hanging from mirror. Dont forget to get it waxoyled you jammy sod, no underbody protection on new deependers.:D

Oh yes they work alright, some only have a low range of about 10-20m but others we have got hold of took out a complete carpark of a good 200m square! at the end of the day even if its 10 yards its done its job

I wonder how he's getting on with it, I love my 110 but blimey I have had some problems with it.
Latest thing, where the rear offside mudflap bolts to the body work, the aluminium bodywork split open where it bolts and now I have a hanging mudflap which can't be bolted back because theres a bloody great hole where it should be fixed to. I've never even had the damn thing off road so I aint caught it on anything.
