advice please - how to stay legit?

Ok so im guna galv chassis my 90 later in the summer.

Questions how do I do it legitimatly, with regards to new chassis and chassis numbers etc but also what can I do with my old one?

Can I sell it legally?
Or is scraping it the only proper way.

safest way is to buy an identical galvanised chassis, making sure you keep the receipt any any other relevant information, then you have to cut up old chassis, taking pictures as proof, then get receipt from scrappy.

maybe an idea to contact your local dvla office BEFORE you start this just to make sure they will be happy.

good luck, this can be a bit of a minefield

swapping a galv chassis is just like changing a door its just a new part keep your receipt. but that's if its a direct replacement it can not be modified in anyway . your bank statement will be further proof, as for the old one just cut up an scrap save all hassle latter (ie) someone trying to clone your landy. dvla only wont to know if its a secondhand chassis with other numbers then it get complicated

Cool. I planned on contacting dvla and getting something in writting.

I thought scraping would be best, just wanted tobcheck.
