Yes, straight swap. The wiring should also be there for the heated seats too, but you will need to find some switches for them but I don't know what else as I usually rip out the interiors to fit rollcages and bucket seats.
Someone will be here soon to tell you exactly what you need to connect the heated seats........

should fit ok, BUT you won't be able to put the seats from the 5 door into the 3 door as they won't have the tilting mechanism to let people in and out of the back.

If they're heated, wiring may or may not be in place,

good luck

Of course you are correct, I should've read it properly, I only noticed the 3 door/5 door thing once I posted.
As for the heated seat loom, I'm only going by experience as I've seen it on all of the Freelanders I've owned, only one of which actually had heated seats and the first one I owned never had abs/hdc either but all the wiring was on the main loom for heated seats, abs etc.
However, knowing Land Rover it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't on all of them and I stand to be corrected.

Wish mine had heated seats, leather seats are nice but in winter they aint half chilly till they warm up Brrrr

where would the wiring be hiding for the heated seats

my L series W 2000 has leather seats and if i look under the seat it not connected but would love to do it before winter
