I have a 2003 disco 67 k making a strange noise when accelerating kind of like something is loose and making friction I can hear it on the front Left wheel and stops when not accelerating , It is even worse when turning to the right at speeds of 60+ milles .
LR told me that it was the transfer case at a 7.000 bill (in Mexico ) I Think it could be the wheel hubs ABS . TC . and DC lights are coming on sometimes.

Allready Checked Front Drive Shaft . Drained the transmission and no metal pieces . greased up joints all seems ok.

not really an expert and new to LR Please Help.

Jack it up and do a critical check of the wheel bearing.
Take the wheel off.
Check that nothing (like a stone) is trapped between the brake disc and the backing plate.

The fact it happens only when accelerating (engine pulling hard) is a clue.

If it isn't a wheel bearing check the engine and gearbox mountings immediately as a bust mounting can allow the engine-gearbox assembly to rock over a lot (due to the torque RE-action) which can allow things to start hitting other things they shouldn't come near.

OK. done
Wheel hubs seem to have rusted and even do everything else seems to be ok no aparent breaks or cracks or noises but I will go ahead and change the 2 front Hubs and take it step By step I realy dont think it is the transfer case witch is LR Workshop original diagnosis.
Is there any danger on Using the car with some load? Im taking a trip with my family tomorrow.
Thanks for the Help.

What should I look for in the Engine and Gear box mountings.
Could You also tell me how many there are please.
