Hiya guys

We've got a range rover P38 had it for a few weeks now got the usual air suspension problem which we're trying to figure out whats wrong with it, but my question is we had 2 remote key fobs with the car now neither one locks/unlocks the car with the buttons so has to be done by key in the door, i've changed the batteries today and tried to sync it but not happening (from the owners manual) but on the instructions i got with the batteries etc it says to enter the 4 digit key code any ideas what i'm suppposed to do.

Your location would be a help for starters...or is it a big secret ?????
Do you know if you have key 1 and key 2 etc.? Two keys of the same number will cause remote locking and synchronising problems.
Try holding the lock pushbutton on the keyfob depressed whilst you turn to the lock position and back to the centre position, release the pushbutton then repeat but this time depressing the unlock pushbutton whilst turning the key to the unlock position. Return to the centre position, release the pushbutton and remove the key. Then try lock & unlock with the fob remotely.
The problem could also be caused by the RF receiver being disconnected incorrectly or faulty.
Repeat with the other key afterwards and let us know how you get on.
