good evening
just purchased my first discovery a 2000 td5 auto. having had it a few days ive noticed a couple of faults.the first i knew about when i bought it the offside rear airbag deflates when parked but not all the time.it had a pair of new airbags fitted in march no problems then last week all of a sudden down it went its had 2 new height sensors fitted just in case the first one as faulty but the problem still there. the garage that fitted the sensors said it might be an intermittent electrical fault. any ideas.
the second problem theres a slight humming noise from i think the steering whilst cornering it doesnt do it when stationary moving the wheel only when moving.theres no leaks from box fluid levels are ok.could it be the ace system as it does it more on right handers. other than that cracking motor already cleaned the map sensor and fitted a egr bypass kit looking foward to doing more with help and advice from you guys.
