!996 2.5 Dse P38 Auto Box Problem

HI JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS EVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THERE AUTO BOX !! MINE SEEMS TO BE STUCK IN SPORTS MODE AND REVS REALLY HIGH BEFORE CHANGES,THE LIGHT SWITCH NXT TO THE STICK LIGHTS UP INTO SPORTS MODE BUT NOT NORMAL ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT

I think your fult will be down to the ecu under the seat...my auto box is a bit nuts too when the sports light is off the box is in sport mode and when lights onn drives slow and my low rang has never worked but not a big deal both a cheep fix. You can find a cheep ecu on ebay someone on here said they paid £35 and another said he paid £120..best of luck.. Jamie

you mean you can turn off the sport mode?Is it the same for the XJR? I may have to try that........................................Tried it didnt like it!
