firstly i am sorry for posting a question before introducing myself!!
i am 29, married with 2 brats and a dog and a beautiful 300tdi disco.
i have just recently bought my dads disco off him, i have been around landrovers for many years and this is my 2nd road going vehicle. i bought a series 3 109 shell when i was 14, and quickly realised i had made a mistake as i had no engine,no gearbox and no front body work!! when i was 17 i bought a series 2 swb which i learnt to drive in. have done many RTV trialls and passengered my dad when he did ccv;s and comps in his racer.
the last few years i have been sadly driving a fiat stilo that was even took to billing last year, a landrover badge stuck over the fiat badge and drove it up onto some tyres!!! my dad said he wanted to sell his disco so i took it off him, have had it 2 weeks now and completelty in love with it,apart from changing driver side brake lights!!!! will up some pics to the gallery later, you'll probably see me here alot asking questions about repairs and maintenance, my next job is to replace the reverse light switch which after reading up on the net about seems like its going to be a similar job to the brake light,,,, a pain.
