50th V8 90

anyone on here tried on of these? Am looking for something to change my
300tdi 90 for, to give quieter towing and a bit more fun.

what should I look out for? Is it going to be as thirsty as the P38? Is it
a 3 or 4 speed auto?

About to go down the same road ;-) Essentially the engine/autobox is the
same as the 98 Disco ... so it's a 4.0litre V8 mated to a 4 speed ZF

Ah ... well ... you see ....

We have an V8 RR3 Vogue and a 4.6 Discovery V8i ES .... it's the Freelander
we are swapping ;-) - it's 2 cylinders short <grin>
