4th and 5th Lane motorways for Landy's

Is it just me. Or does every one who drives a landy pay more attention to the grass verges on the motorways than the motorway it's self.
So I say open them up for us 4x4 guys and save on tarmac.

I got stuck on motorway for an hour following probable fatal that caused it to shut , had a recce on foot and then left by going up embankment and out onto side road crossing over , any one else had such an escape ?
