On stripping the 4.6 i noticed that the oil squirt groove in the big end cap has been deleted, yet the new bearings have the little notch to allow the oil into missing groove. Has anyone given this a thought as i am going to put the groove in the big end cap to squirt oil into the piston skirts just as the old engines did, and wondered if deleting the groove with the 4.6 rod contributed to the slipped liner issues
