Hi Guys. My auto box has just developed a worrying fault. When selecting reverse (particularly from neutral) the car does not go back until the engine is revved whereupon there is a bang and it shoots back. Going from Park there is less of a problem, the car moves back but then the transmission 'snatches' as if the park brake is engaging for a moment. Also, when moving off forwards there is a slight 'rubbing' noise which disappears as soon as the box changes up out of 1st. It then drives as normal. The fluid is at the right level and looks just like new. Any ideas? Charles
