300tdi upgrade temp gauge

Hi all just fitted a 300tdi to my old NA 110 and all going well although the temp gauge shows running hot but it isnt. I have been told this is a problem and to change the gauge to a 300tdi. Does anyone know if this is the best option.

You need to match the temperature sender with the temperature guage. At the moment you are running a 300 sender with NA guage. Easiest thing is to take the sender off your old NA and plonk it into the 300 (if the threads match).

Then changing the guage is the only option... or watch where the normal operating temp is on your current guage and if it goes higher then worry.
