300tdi turbo repair kit

Hi


I am looking to repair my 300tdi turbo , where can i get a repair kit ?

I've never seen such an animal....if you look in the mags there are people who will re-furbish it for you, or let you trade it in for a refurbished one or even a new one

just buy a good 2nd hand one - even if you did manage to buy one you'd Never be able to balance the turbine and compressor .

I have a 1994 300TDi with a perfectly good Turbo on it. I am sure we could discuss matters if your interested.

I have a kit here - I also have the rebuild guides. The balancing is only needed is the turbine/compressor/shaft has been damaged.

If it is in need or new seals etc then look on ebay for the t25 rebuild kit - they have the lot for a rebuild where the comp/turbine is reusable.

You can also buy compressor blades/turbine - shaft assy - which come balanced from a firm somewhere - prestige turbos or something.

I have been doing some reserch on the kit and what I came across is a company in Califonia , USA that sells the whole cartridge for the turbo , already balanced. Works fine ..
