300tdi headrests

On the front seats.

They look the same as the ones on my TD5, but neither headrest will budge from their position about an inch from the top of the seat.

Are they supposed to adjust up and down on the 300tdi, like they do on the TD5? They have the same chrome stem on them and look like the TD5 ones.

If so how can l free them off. They resisted all my efforts by hand.

yes, they should move, wd 40 and a bit of rough lol.
just refurbed my seats and i had to hammer them free from inside, once i had removed the covers.

I've recently come across this myself having taken delivery of some Exmoor Trim seat covers. As already stated they are quite difficult to remove but persevere, when hitting the headrests be careful not to belt yourself in the mouth like I did!
