Greetings,

Once again I seek the collected wisdom of this forum. I'm looking for a aftermarket temperature gauge to monitor the coolant temperature on my 300tdi.

I understand that I need to match the temperature sender to the gauge in order to receive an accurate reading. Are there any 1/2" BSP senders that you can recommend along with a compatible temperature gauge?

OR
Are there any gauges that are compatible with the OE Land rover temp sender that would give me an accurate reading?

Thanks in advance.

I've got Tim gauges in mine, not really had a lot of use as of yet, but I've heard plenty of good things about them, plus they're reasonably priced.
A lot of senders I've seen are either 1/8ntp or 5/8unf. But you usually got a hand full of adapters with the unit you buy.

I've got Durite on my 300TDi, sender screws straight into the original housing and the gauge is very accurate.

Sounds good. I'll explore that option or i"ll have to invest in some adapters as 1/2" BSP is not that popular when it comes to senders.

Thanks for the input, will update as to progress.

I had to use one on mine.
