I am looking at the glencoyne website (LINK) for fitting a 300tdi using an LT77box. and I am after a little more information on this line from anyone else who has done this:
"You also need to grind a little metal off the outside of the housing to clear the clutch slave cylinder, and this is much easier to do if you remove the flywheel housing from the engine and offer it up to the gearbox."
Is this just to get the engine to fit in the first place, in which case for the engine I have this will have already been done as it was previously used as a conversion with an LT77. Or is this to allow the slave to be removed without splitting the engine and box, which has not been done as PO informed me you could not remove the slave.
