Hi guys,

Really getting baffled by this, currently i've connected my snorkel straight to engine with a filter on the top of the snorkel as a quick job but i need something more suitable.

Ive got a 300tdi engine from a disco in the defender and need a more fitting filter idea whilst using the snorkel. Would a disco air box fit under the bonnet anywhere? or is there any better ideas?

Much appreciated guys

Edd

Does your 300 have the black metal bracket that the 300 air filter sits on?

(visible below the birds nest that is my wiring loom)

If so then then link you posted can be made to fit. The filter can is roughly the same size although the outlets are in slightly different places. You will need to either make some of the big clamps or adjust the ones you have because they mount differently.

I used a vertical mount turbo D filter, and mounted behind engine ( on top of bellhousing) 300tdi auto(ex disco) in 90 (300tdi chassis)
