i bought a second hand nas rear step for my 98 300tdi 90. The guy I bought it off said he had bought it for a 97 90 but never fitted it.
I went to fit it today but it doesn’t fit. The nas step has 3 holes in the top that bolts to th underside rear crossmember into the captive nuts. 2 of the holes don’t line up in fact I have 5 captive nuts with only the middle that would line up if I could get it in position but can’t because it’s fouling on the captive nuts.
The 90 has had a new rear crossmember (not by me) and I’m wondering if it’s a different rear crossmember or whether its the wrong nas step
Anyone had any similar problems?
