300 Tdi power increase

Hi all,

i have a 1995 dicovery 300Tdi manual and would like to increase the power as it feels a little underpowered at the moment.

any ideas on where to start and what the most cost effective way of increasing power is.

Always start will a full service...
Oil and filter.
Fuel Filter
Clean out the Sluge filter at the rear chassis.
Then a performace air filter.
Then see how she drives...
If its a 1995 TDI it will not be the one with a air flow sensor so its quite tunable with care.Unlike mine which is the late ECU controlled TDI. I also fitted a new life pump and saw a slight increaase in better drivability.
