3 years stood.pass mot? N London

Hi guys. I have an Nreg p38 dt manual been on the drive For 3 years. Decided to give it the chance of an mot. Then back on the road so need to get a battery. Well the question is I'm in finchley north London I'll need to get it to mot and back. Now just discovered the boot won't open. Can anyone help? I've been quoted £60 each way drop. Doubt it will pass but I'll know where I am. Thanks.

Only if the vehicle is insured and the MOT is pre-booked, cheaper to pay for transport than the insurance...

Thought it needed insurance now even if off the road ? But surely it will need insurance after its mot ?

Not if it's SORNED! only unsorned vehicle are required to be insured. regardles of whether are been driven or not.

Ah ok im not in the uk just seen the ads on the tele

It is cheaper and less hassle just to get it moted and transported either way. When it's back on the road I intend to swap insurance over and drive the girl again. I used to enjoy driving her I've not had that since. I was looking at the last mot and it's not even done a thousand miles since. A mate wanted it and let me down, not answering didn't come when he said now he's not getting it. Kinda want to thank him for the kick he's now given me.

Is the MOT station near you I might be able to pick it up either Friday or Saturday?

Hi mate. I got a guy I know to do it today. Thanks a million for the offer mate. I was most of yesterday sorting out bits got the tailgate open still not working tho.

Has it got central locking it might be the solenoid sticking?

It has mate. I'm gonna try a push button for the tailgate see if that does it. I did here the can be cleaned. Ya kinda grow to love these ha.
