Anyone seen or driven a 2007 Defender yet? Wondering if I should buy one of the last of the side facing seat 90's or wait for the newer version. I am sure the 6th gear is welcome, but is the new engine better?
 
I reckon the new engine will be great.We have a works van with the Ford Duratorque engine.Its fast,smooth and as the name suggests its got plenty of torque.I think I will start to do the lottery again!
 
Land Rover at Teeside say they are getting one this month & i have a test drive booked but they are not giving a date as yet & they are taking orders as they think they will be flying out i think i is more sales patter or their way of putting the pressure on to place an order.
 
I would not bother with the 07 defender for a while unless you want your LR to help write the workshop bulletin pages.

I also think is it good that Land Rover has Updated the inside!!

I like the Vents That came from a Fiesta & other cars

I also love my own landrover and would not sell / swap it for a boy racer car!

yella disco - with the inside!!! nearly all the cheap crappy cars are better inside than the 05 or 06, but now they have done sumit about it!! because if people stop buying the defender they cant keep making it. there are soo many 4x4's out now landrover need to improve their game and a good rep wont sell cars alone!!!

and i know most people buy a defender for off roading and alike but i bet their are a few who have them and the only off roading is bumping up a curb on the school run.

slob i said it was turkys not chickens (the are well out my league:eek: :D :eek: :D :D )
 
Anyone any idea what the release date is for the new Defender?

can't afford one but it would fun to perv over one at the dealers.
