2005 vogue head unit to aftermarket.

Hello guys I'm new to range rover modding I own a 2005 vogue with as far as I know the 2005 to 2009 head unit. I have the mk3 cd unit in the boot. Is it possible to buy the 2010 head unit and dvd unit for the sat nav is it just plug and play ? Also thr 2002-2004 aftermarket units do they fit straight into a 2005 ? As far as I know from research my unit is denso.
