2003 RR Vogue noisey fan

The vehicle seems to have lost its 'pokyness' in terms of power and it now seems to make a loud fan like noise as if its labouring really hard.

Any ideas?

I have the problem with my 2003 td6. It comes and goes the noise. I am going to check the fan first. May have a worn coupling, but I can't understand the loss in power. It's almost as it the car has doulbed in weight, is the best way to describe what I am experiencing.

Sound like your viscous cooling fan is stuck on, i replaced mine with on from ebay the otehr week as the same happened to mine and it had the same problems.
