Hi folks,
Just took out the old headlight to fit the new one. There is a ball joint at the bottom (at the base middle of the headlight) and the top of the light has two threaded bars.
I got two plastic square clips which seem to clip into the steel work in the body. The threaded bars slide though these, but there doesnt appear to be a hard 'stop', so i can push the light so far in its pointing up at a fair angle. Finally, there are 2 square clips that push onto the back of the first clips. They look like the ones you'd screw on, but there is no screwing facility, they just push on.
1) am i doing this right?
2) there is no 'stop' for the threaded bar, so how do i know what angle to have the light at
3) these secondary clips - what do they do? Doesnt appear to be much...
This may be a bit confusing... i have looked up the maintenance manuals etc but i can't find what i'm looking for. Does anybody have photos which may help?
