Alright,

Ok I have decided to put the old girl up for sale 'as is' to see what interest I have.

Basically I could really do with a 'more' economical car, so plannng on testing the water re: sale, or else I'll keep her and commute on the bike.

A few basic details/Points to note:

- 1998 4.0 SE V8 Roja Red
- Automatic
- 160,000 miles
- Tax end of June 2012
- MOT October 2012
- Full Black Leather Interiour
- 18" Alloy Wheels
- Tow bar with duel electrics
- Tartarini SGI (sequential) LPG system (100ltr tank) with certificate
- Currently running around 260miles to a tank (80ltr)
- STILL ON AIR SUSPENSION - All Good
- All electric windows work
- Blend Motors all work
- 4 Matching Tyres with good tread (4mm+)

More in depth details:

The old girl had a full service history up until around 30K ago (13 stamps) however, she is now on her 3rd NEW engine (all in service book) and in November she was flushed multiple times before having good quality 10W40 semi-sinth oil, new Coopers oil filter, new air filter, new pollen filters, new coolant (after flush) and last month I put new NGK spark plugs in.

Since I have had her (bought beginning of November 2011) she has had the following, which I have receipts to prove all:

- New LPG injectors
- Full LPG Service
- Reconditioned Rear Diff
- New Oil Pump (complete unit - shells removed and checked at same time and all ok)
- New Fuel pump
- New Knock Sensor
- New Lucas HT Leads
- New Gearbox Oil
- New Drop Link
- New Track Rod Bar
- New Drag Link Bar
- New EAS Pump Rubbers (now nice and quiet)
- New Oil Pressure Switch
- Fitted Mud Flaps (not pictured)
- New LPG Water Elbows
- Passenger Door Lock replaced

As you can see alot of money has been spent (at last count, over 1.5K ) and I have to prove the above. Since I got her I have put only over 6k miles and only once was left stranded and this was due to the fuel pump giving up the ghost

Few bad bits:

- Some Paint flaking on rear tailgate (see pics)
- Paint flaking on O/S front wing (mainly hidden by Mud Flap - see pics)
- Paint flaking on O/S rear wheel arch (see pics)
- Sunroof (non Land Rover) doesn't work (does not leak)
- Cruise control doesn't work
- Front Diff whines (I will include a replacement diff in the sale)
- LPG level indicator doesn't show tank level (I consistently get 260miles to a full tank)
- Aircon needs re-gassing
- Heated Seats are not working
- Exhaust is blowing (has been for months, never bothered me)
- Petrol guage is faulty (I just put £10 in a week)

Think the above is about it, as part of the sale I will include the following:

- Spare 2-pin diff for front (just bought and still wrapped)
- New gearbox service kit
- New rocker cover gaskets (doesn't leak, I just got as part of set)

Basically, the old girl has been running me around since November and I have also done some mild off-roading (low range works perfect). The above bits aside, she is a cracking motor and would do anyone wanting a cheap P38 which has had a lot of the common issues already rectified.

I have numerous pics in addition to whats included, so please just ask if you want any.

I am after £1400 for her or:

P/X or swap for a clean diesel car, preferably saloons, estates or 4x4s, let me know what you have.

Regards,

Diehard

Tank is a Stako 4-hole 'torpedo' tank in the boot behind back seats, however, I do have a Stako doughnut 4-hole tank that will be availible to the buyer by negotiation, if interested.

I bought to fit in the truck, however, I decided to sell in stead.

Hi
Would you be interested in a swap for a 2002 ford mondeo estate 2l ghia x 130hp tdci, 60 mpg on a run and 45mpg around town.
The car has mot until march 2013 and tax till end of september, tax is £160 a year.
Car has done 130k miles which is nothing for a duratorq engine and had oil change in march when it had its mot.
Has a very expensive pioneer touch screen stereo with bluetooth and takes a usb stick or sd card plus its a dvd player too. remotes on wheel work with it too.
cruise control, elec everything, heated leather seats sunroof. all works as it should.
There is a load liner and a load cover plus roof bars all genuine.
No rust and apart from the scrape its in excellent condition and when it had its mot the chap said its solid underneath and in great condition.

Im a very long way away but for the right deal i am willing to travel, is it at all possible to get the fuel gauges working and would the lpg doughnut tank be included?

jamie

More pics as requested, a bit rushed so I apologise for the mess...
