hello all,
firstly a question thats probably easy to most people ( but not me )
you know the red and black 12v power feed on the dash board? does anyone have a set of the progs you shove in to use the power supply or know where i can get them or even the correct name as i have been trying to find a set for ages with no luck?
secondly more serious engine problem!
i have the standard 2 1/4 diesel engine , its dont 75k miles but was rebuilt fully around 5k miles ago ( before i owned it ) it has started to smoke, not oil smoke, it stinks of diesel! it only smokes when its cold and is miss firing, i have had to replace the exhaust manifold and exhaust so started without the manifold and i know its missing and smoking on the same barrel ( nearest to cab ) im pretty sure its unburnt diesel as it only smokes when it missfires and if you rev it it stops smoking.
i have checked the valve clearances and theyre fine, any ideas?
it runs fine and pulls like a steam train while towing but its just the smoking exhaust thats anoying me ( and the nieghbours ) when i go out in it.
any help would be apreciated

if your going to use the inspection lamp sockets I would fit a fuse in circuit as they are fed direct of the battery via the starter solenoid
