hi, just joined lrz and want to get off road, we are from essex and its crap here apart from the odd sand pit, love wales want to drive some esay stuff to start with, have 200 tdi disco which i am sorting into good offroader, dont know where to post this hope its ok, let me know what you think, thanks !!!!!!!!!! andy

Dave cannot make 13th as I have to go down to Cornwall tonight to pick up a horse first thing Saturday morning and then be travelling back all day Saturday so I will be knackered Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no probs stig speaking of horses i drove a newish bentley continental today had to paint passenger door on it twin turbo w12 198mph put my foot to the floor a few times never been in anything like it before some power

its good one certainly in my top ten, not muddy but rockly. its a legal ROW but the track off to the lost village is not a ROW and its here that some problems have occured. Its a dead end but level you can walk it, remember its the national park ramablers/climbers tend to be more concerned here.

Finding the wreckage is not easy took us 2 hours on foot and we had exact grid refs within 100 meters, we got to the spot (days before sat-nav) but just could not find it, when we give up we came across it on the way down

Moel Siabod has a bit of a reputaion among walkers its a long ridge, starting at 600 feet above sea level at the bottom you climb more than if it was snowdon, i did it once and considered it harder
