Hi all,

I'm aware that my 2000 reg 110 Defender is going to leak as a standard however after reading the Water Ingress Manual and a few other threads it's clear that the problem can be solved with copious amounts of sealant etc. My questions is this....does anyone know of a company in the UK offering this as a service?

My 110 is pretty good in terms of leaking, it was completely re built last year with new doors etc, however I'm sure the doors and panels are allowing water into them which obviously concerns me ref rust etc! I could do the job of sealing it myself but frankly when I factor in the cost of consumables, time, mess and the fact that I'm likely to mess it up/miss something that should be sealed I would be more inclined to pay a company/person that has experience of it to do it for me (lazy I know but I'm being honest!).

Any ideas?

Not seen it as a service in the same way as Waxoyl is marketed

You might find an Indy garage who would do it as a requested thing, but no idea what the quality might be like

Re: Missing bits: If you cruise around the Web there is a manual for rectifying these faults (called the water ingress manual I believe). That would help you avoid missing bits.

Been driving LRs of all stripes for over 20 years and never have managed to cork one up. :)
