1" is just enough

Hi All,

I will be starting a complete bottom up rebuild on our 90 300tdi with the help of my son now 17, which will be good for the lad as it will get his hands dirty and off the X-Box. We have settled on just a 1" lift, but all we can see are 2" lift kits etc on the market. But what do we need for a 1" lift? Is there a kit out there with shocks and springs or do we simply keep as standard and use castor correction bushes?

p.s never let loose a 17 year old with a wish list of 90 mods, his spread sheet is already up to £3k, in his dreams!

Thanks

never seen a 1"....
go for the 2", its not that extreme that you'll need wide angle props and castor correction....

whatever you do, stay way from Britpart though

I have seen a 1" lift and when I get new springs that's what I'll get but I don't need new springs yet. I can't remember where I saw it but if i do I'll post it. You could always fit heavy duty springs which will give you a lift but the ride will be bone shaking on road.
