1.8 K Series engine

Dear LandyZone, I hope someone can help me. I am new, but love my freelander (even if she's petrol)

The engine starting failing not long ago and has been replaced, but she's still cutting out at manovures and reversing, she's also not making the whispy noise when changing gears.

Does anyone know whats wrong with it?

It will be the vcu, either replace or remove

could need a new fuel filter, its in the tank by the way.
